I have taught at the University of California, two community colleges, and one high school as a part-time instructor in theatre, sound, video production, recording and live television production. My students have won several statewide video awards and a summer scholarship from UCLA in film.
Contact with artists, theatre renters, and stagecraft workers has been a major part of my professional life starting at Carmel’s Sunset Cultural Center, continuing at the UCSC Concert Hall, Anthology San Diego, Yoshi’s Oakland, and the Empress Theatre in Vallejo.
Currently I work independently as a video producer, audio A-1, A-2, and multicamera video installation engineer for live switched streaming with multichannel audio mixing.
I use an iMac 27 with Premiere Pro as my primary video editing computer and software. I am an AVID certified editor, and I am experienced with Final Cut Pro.
As a media professional, I have ten Emmy Award nominations and have won three Emmy Awards (NATAS PSW Chapter).
